DESIGN LEADER

Brandon uses his unique blend of business acumen and creative ability to lead and collaborate on human-centered design and strategy projects. He was a Service Designer with Harmonic Design, and before that, a Business Designer with Fjord, and an Experience Strategist at KPMG Digital. Brandon is also an adjunct faculty member at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Business of Art and Design program. Beginning his career at General Electric, Brandon used his engineering degree in various operations and supply chain roles.

Brandon aka Ball Tech is a sought-after DJ, who curates sounds and keeps the party going at major events in DMV, Atlanta, and internationally. From brunches to weddings, department store events to brand launches, art shows to corporate events, he mixes soundtracks for every occasion.

Brandon flexes his strategic branding and design muscles by running his own business, Ball-n-Co. LLC, which he co-founded in 2007. His firm provides consulting, brand experience, strategy and design services. He is also the visionary and co-curator behind the biggest summer art social in Atlanta, ARTiculate ATL, a non-profit, which champions emerging artists and funds youth arts programming.

A true overachiever and lifelong learner

Committed to his craft, Brandon completed a MA in Design Leadership from MICA and a MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School at the same [d@mn] time! He also earned a BS degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (AGGIE PRIDE!) and sits on the department’s External Advisory Board.

In his free time (what free time?!), this Atlanta native enjoys reading, hiking, collecting art, traveling, listening to music, and experiencing different cultures. Get to know him.
